Logical

Logic ProblemFrom the Poetic Asides blog:
For today’s prompt, pick an adjective, make it the title of your poem, and then, write your poem. If you’re feeling stuck on this one, go back through your poems earlier this month and find adjectives you used–if any. Or crack open a dictionary. Or scan other poems for ideas.

Logical

My hero was Mr. Spock,
as my body matured
faster than my mind,
he offered hope
of control
over strange emotions
fueled by hormones.

That paved the path
not just to programming
and poetry but also puzzles.
Figuring out
how Albert figured out
that Bernard figured out
Cheryl’s birthday
is more satisfying
than trying to deduce
muddled body language
and imprecise expressions
to a real life solution
that is neither concrete
nor conclusive.
