Million’s Poet

Million's PoetI heard an interesting documentary on the BBC World Service yesterday about an Arab reality television show which is the poetry equivalent of American Idol. It’s called Million’s Poet and the top prize is more than a million dollars. During its first season it had more viewers than football!

I frequently joke that I write poetry for the fame and money. Looks like I just need to change languages.

By the way, it’s been about a year since I kicked off this blog. Thanks for reading.
